Temu Coupon Code Not Working? 9 Fixes for Existing Users

“Temu coupon code not working” is one of the most searched Temu phrases for a reason: the app rarely explains why a code was refused. It just says invalid, expired or not eligible. The good news is that on an existing account the cause is almost always one of the nine things below, and each one has a quick fix. Work through them in order and you will usually have a working Temu coupon code for existing users applied within a minute.

1. The code is a new-user welcome code

This is the big one. Most Temu codes shared online are welcome offers that only work on an account’s very first order. Paste one into an account with an order history and Temu rejects it without saying why. Fix: use a code that is meant for existing accounts, such as acv906043 for 50% off or ald534540 for the $100 bundle. 2. You already redeemed it

Every existing-user code works once per account. If you used the 50% code last month, it will show as invalid this month. Fix: move down the list: $100 bundle, then 40% (alc640991), then 30% (ald142983).

3. Your basket is under the minimum spend

Each code has a threshold, and shipping fees do not count toward it. Fix: add a low-cost item to cross the line. The extra discount is nearly always bigger than the item you added.

4. Another coupon is already applied

Temu applies account coupons automatically, and a manually entered promo code can be blocked while one is attached to the order. Fix: open the coupon section at checkout, remove the applied coupon, then paste the code. If the automatic coupon was actually better, put it back.

5. The code went into the wrong field

Codes only work in the coupon box at checkout. The search bar, the referral screen and the “Enter code” prompt inside games are different systems. Fix: go to checkout, find “Coupon code” or “Apply coupon code” under the order summary, and paste it there.

6. A typo, a capital letter or a stray space

Temu codes are a mix of letters and digits and are easy to mistype. A trailing space from copy-paste is enough to fail. Fix: use the Copy button on our site rather than typing, and make sure the field contains nothing but the code.

7. The promotion is not available in your country

Temu runs some offers regionally. A code accepted in the US may be refused in Canada, the UK, Australia or an EU country, and vice versa. Fix: try the next code; in our testing at least one of the five works in every Temu market. Our country guide has more detail.

8. The code has expired

Temu retires affiliate codes without notice, and many coupon sites never remove them. Fix: only use codes with a recent verification date. We re-test ours every month and remove dead ones; the date is shown at the top of the homepage. If one slipped through, tell us and we will re-test it.

9. The app is out of date or the session is stale

Occasionally a code fails because the app has not refreshed your account’s promotions. Fix: update the Temu app, sign out and back in, or try on temu.com in a browser instead.
